Thousands of local people and tourists participated the 2013 Spring Tay Thien Festival which opened on March 26th(February 15 on the lunar calendar) at Tay Thien Relic Site in Vinh Phuc Province.
This year’s festival highlights traditional rituals in Thong and Thuong Temples, along with cultural and sports activities. Also, a fair introducing specialities of 10 Red River Delta provinces will take place, as part of the event.
The 2013 Spring Tay Thien Festival aims to promote traditional cultural values, moral and cultural value standard, moral standard of “When drinking water, remember its source” and national pride.
The festival, at the same time, will help open a new direction for tourism development in Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang provinces.
