A week-long festival highlighting the culture of Toulouse city will be held in Hanoi from October 4 to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic ties.
The event symbolises the close ties between the two countries’ cities that have existed since 1996.
‘Toulouse Cultural Week’ is an opportunity to introduce unique art performances by Toulouse artists to Hanoians, contributing to promoting French culture to the Vietnamese.
The week will feature activities ranging from music shows, film screenings, concerts and exhibitions.
The highlight will be a classical music performance at the opening ceremony on the evening of October 4 by the prestigious Les Hanches Hantées Clarinet Quartet.
