The People’s Committee of Hoi An City in the central province of Quang Nam last week opened an entertainment zone for children at the Culture-Information Center of Cam Thanh Commune.
The construction worth CAD195,000 was sponsored by Canadian group Castledowns Recreation Society (CDRS) with 23 members coming to the locality to install the equipment for the playground.
Pat Zelenak, CDRS’ project manager, said: “We, together with the local youth, implement the project in a week. The entertainment zone is a symbol of Canada-Vietnam’s friendship. CDRS will keep donating more constructions to children in other locations in Vietnam.”
The worldwide group is currently working on Project Vietnam in Hoi An City. For more information on CDRS email to: [email protected]s.ca.
